Elstead Ward

Elstead ward is a seventeen-bed short stay frailty unit recently opened in the Division of Access and Medicine, specialising in the care of the older frail person. It is a short stay, 72 hour assessment and admission unit. We take direct admissions from the Emergency Department, as well as transfers from the Emergency Assessment Unit (EAU). It is centralised around holistic patient care with a multidisciplinary approach.

East Wing, Level D. When entering the hospital using the main entrance, proceed straight ahead. Continue past reception located on the right of the foyer. Bear right and proceed down to the end of the corridor. Take the East Wing lifts to Level D. On exiting the lifts turn left and then right and Frensham Ward and Elstead Ward is located straight ahead.
