Ophthalmology is a medical and surgical management of conditions of the eye and its attached parts. Our Ophthalmology department is a modern, purpose-built unit providing up-to-date diagnostic and treatment facilities.
If you have an eye examination and the optometrist finds signs of an eye condition, they or your GP will refer you to an ophthalmologist. The conditions they treat can include eye trauma, cataracts, corneal transplant and diabetic eye conditions.
