Royal Surrey is a leading centre for clinical research and our patients play a vital role in this. We may offer you the opportunity to participate in a clinical trial and this possibility will be discussed with you at your appointment. By taking part in a clinical research trial you receive advancing treatments and have the opportunity to help your own condition, as well as furthering cancer research for future patients.  There is no obligation to enrol in a trial, this is entirely voluntary, and not all patients will be eligible.
